Hi Johan, how are you?

Hi. Im really tired, I worked all night at “studentkaren”. I got in bed first at 7.30AM today.

Okay, it sounds like a great job with a lot of partys.

Yes, its fun working there, you get to see a lot of nice people, at least the most of them are nice. Its also very instructive.

I bet it is interesting, but to start with, tell me a little about where you are comming from.

I come from a small place in sweden called Torsas.

Alright, is that where you grew up?

Yes

How nice, short and concise. How did you get in contact with paintball at first? And what made you continue using the drug?

A friend of mine had a recball course nearby. So a summer a few years back I went there and tried it. I got stuck at once and went back every summer to play. After a while my friend decided to shut the course down, but the abstinence grew to strong, so we started our very own course. Now it’s my biggest hobby.

Okay, I see what you mean with stuck and that part, I dont think I want to ask what your smaller hobbies are. But Ive also heard that you are running your very own rental course, is that right?

Yes, Im running Torsas Paintball as my very own firm besides my studies. This summer was my first season and it has been really fun.

Do make any big money of it?

Most of the money goes back to the activity to keep improve it all the time. Its still growing and I have a lot of ideas, which I will make come true before I start taking out wages for the work.

Alright, I see. Can you try describe one of those Ideas you have?

During the year 2008 I will put a lot of effort to organize big-games and scenariogames for all recballers in sweden, competitionplayers are also welcome of course. Most important is that its well organized and gives you this cool experience you will never forget. And after that Ill pack my stuff together and go to “Dreamhack” to set up a sup air field to give thousands of visitors the chanse to try out paintball for their very first time.

Okay, that certainly sounds interesting, but also it seems to be a big project to run. Now, tell me how you got in contact with the rushhour crew the very first time.

I noticed a press item in where rushhour.se was looking for people, so I sent them an application and since then it has just been rolling.

Yeah, and the community is going to the better all the time and growing every day. But what exactly is your part in the whole project?

At the very moment Im doing the encoding of the site. But in the future I hope Ill get the chanse to write some articles about recball in Sweden. Recball is by the way as big as the competition world of paintball. The difference is that recball just gets in the background.

Yeah I think that will be needed, after all you seems to be the one who is most into that kind of paintball. For about how long have you been a part of the gang behind rushhour.se?

I got onboard in the end of 2006.

Who or whom are you looking up to most in the world of paintball? Except the rushhour.se crew of course.

I would say the owner of paintballbanan.se. I read a discussion thread about the paintball future in Sweden, and his contribution in that debate was like a god sermon to me.

Alright, that sounds interesting of course. Anyhow. How does any ordinary day look in your shoes? Also, what color are they?

At the moment Im currently running around a brown pair of shoes. I wake up, taking a shower, then I eat breakfast and after that some free schoolwork and by noon I hopefully get time to visit some of this citys many nightclubs.

It sounds nice. By the way, what are you studying?

Computer engineer with concentration to softwaredevelopment.

It sounds tricky to me, so lets move over to the tricky questions. What do you want for christmas this year?

Thats a tricky question. (5 minutes thinking) A surroundsystem, world peace and a dodge viper.

Cool, you could sign up for mr America 2008 with that great answer. Now, what is your motto?

who dares wins

That’s nice, not bad at all. To the last question, what do you do in ten years from now?

By then I have made my first millions with my IT company. Im sitting on the beach with a drink far away from Sweden. Hopefully I get to play some paintball between the meetings and the nightclub visits.

It sounds like a dream, can you recruite me as co-worker so I can get a taste of the good as well? I mean, a White Russian on the beach is always nice.

All mighty men needs someone to hold the door for them, so sure. There is a spot for you too.

Hahaha, alright then, we have a deal. Thanks for the interview, see you on rushhour.se

Yes, thanks, bye for now.
